Overview

A Look Back

Fastgen was founded with the vision of empowering businesses to solve complex problems using low-code technology. Over time, we’ve refined our platform to serve developers and organizations globally, helping them build robust workflows and drive operational efficiency. With Lumos now integrating our advanced workflow builder into their comprehensive identity platform, our technology will continue to serve a vital purpose at an even greater scale.

Fastgen’s Low-Code Backend platform will shut down

As part of this transition, Fastgen’s existing platform, including our low-code backend platform, will remain accessible to the general public for the next six months before being sunset.

We understand how integral Fastgen has been to your processes and are committed to ensuring a smooth transition to other services for all users. Over this period, our support team will be available to assist with any questions, provide guidance, and help you adapt to this change.

A Note of Gratitude and Optimism

"Our technology is in excellent hands with Lumos," said Mike Mahlkow, CEO of Fastgen. "Andrej and his team are creating one of the most impressive products I’ve encountered in the market, and we cannot wait to see what our technology will do in their hands."

We’re excited to see our platform integrated into Lumos’s powerful identity management suite. At the same time, we’re eager to unveil the next chapter of our journey as we dive into new AI-driven innovations.

What’s Next for Fastgen?

This moment is bittersweet. We enjoyed building a scalable and versatile low-code backend solution and are proud of all the products and processes that were built on top of Fastgen’s technology. While this chapter closes, another begins. The Fastgen team is already hard at work on a new product, leveraging AI to redefine how businesses solve one of their key issues. This new initiative is born out of the existing technology and inspired by one of our largest users who showcased the incredible potential the application of AI has in that area. We’ll be sharing more details in the coming weeks.

In Closing

This moment is both a conclusion and a new beginning. We started Fastgen because we believe in the power of builders to bring their visions to life and change the world according to their designs. At Fastgen, we’ve been inspired by builders from over 100 different countries who took our platform and pushed its boundaries, creating solutions we hadn’t even imagined. Keep on dreaming, keep on building, keep on shaping the world according to your designs.

With gratitude,
The Fastgen Team
