Launch Week 1

Fastgen Launch Week Day 4

December 14, 2023
Mike Mahlkow
CEO & Co-Founder of Fastgen

Overview

Fastgen can manage your application's user authentication, making logins and signups effortless and secure. You can add users manually through the dashboard, via API or through our hosted authentication pages. We also offer automations that trigger based on users taking steps in your authentication flow. Today, we are extending this functionality and are launching social logins, user roles as well as upgrades to our hosted login pages and authentication workflows.

Social Logins

Offering social logins like Login with Google, Apple, or Github significantly lower the chances of login fatigue for your end-users. If you are building an application with Fastgen, you now have the ability to choose from 14 different login options that you can offer to your end-users. The best thing about it, you can activate or deactivate them just with a couple of clicks.

Pre-Built Authentication Pages

Time is money. If you quickly want to build an application that requires signup and login, Fastgen offers a speed-boost by offering hosted authentication pages for you. You can upload your own logo, style it the way you want and immediately start signing up people.

Authentication Workflows

Want to send out an automated message everytime someones signs-up? Want to get a ping to your company Slack-channel whenever a user logs in? This is what our authentication workflows are for. Fastgen listens to all authentication events in the background and you can build workflows that trigger whenever the specific event happens. You can even chain multiple workflows together if you want.

User Roles

Logged in does not equal logged in. Maybe you want to build an app with multiple different tiers of users or a marketplace with different types of users. This is where setting specific user roles comes into play. You can define custom roles and set up your APIs with granular access control so that the users only have access to what they should have access to.

There is one more day left in the first ever Fastgen launch week. Come back tomorrow to see what we have in store for you! The next Fastgen Hackathon starts next week, sign up here: https://fastgen.com/hackathon.
